Position Summary: This is an hourly position which reports to the OS
Manager. Responsible for providing support for the OS Manager and the department, i.e. customer service for the Lord Abbett client as necessary, answering phone and
monitoring Mailroom/Facilities e-mail to ensure request are acknowledged and
completed. Ability to effectively communicate with OS Manager & delegate work assignments amongst staff as requested to do so by OS Manager to meet department deadlines.
Also, when necessary provide necessary support for the Copy Center for Print Production workflow and also the various department Convenience Copiers located throughout the office space.

Essential Job Functions (listing most important first):
1. Position hours are presently from 9:30 AM 6:00 PM; close department end of business day by securing facilities, toner and other storage closets. Hours subject to change based on client business demands and needs.

2. Ability to sort & deliver all incoming first class, courier and messenger mail and packages to the correct departments and secure signatures for all Accountable Mail when necessary and ensure that the staff is doing the same. Responsibility for the department Supply Room upkeep, inventory and proper reorder levels as dictated by previous usage and history. Ability to work alongside Facilities and assist and provide support as necessary and determined by the OS Manager and/or Client.

3. Ability to work projects when required and necessary, i.e. facilities projects, painting, maintenance, etc.

4. Communicate and coordinate with OS Manager changes to department work plans and schedules for employees. Keep the OS Manager up-to-date on all important
Communications as necessary and contact OS Manager for approval of unplanned overtime, projects requiring his knowledge and scope. Communicate with the hourly associate as necessary throughout the day.
5. Knowledge of Canon, Konica-Minolta, Pitney Bowes, FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Campus Ship and other various tools within the OS department to provide back-up as necessary to meet the deadlines.

6. Able to perform maintenance projects such as painting, repairs, minor plumbing, etc. Also ability to perform office moves internally within the various departments.

7. In addition, the expectations of this Lead Position are as determined by the Department OS & Facilities Manager and the Client needs, which can change from time to time, to include all responsibilities within the Office Services and Facilities Department.

Essential Job Requirements:

EDUCATION
HS Diploma required.

EXPERIENCE Customer service, office equipment knowledge & facilities practices

REQUIRED SKILLS PC literate i.e. Outlook e-mail, Microsoft Office, customer service and phone skills,

PREFERRED SKILLS Knowledge of Ricoh, Canon and Konica-Minolta Copiers, Neopost Mailing Systems & Neo Ship Manager, FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Campuss Ship and USPS regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. i.e. Office furniture, tables, chairs, cartons, painting, etc.
